Illegal dumping problem along the Chikiriq Canal resolved

Earlier on our channel, we reported on a petition received from citizens stating that "The coastal area from school 233 to the 1/2 and 1/3 dehs of Karakamish (along the Kichkirik canal, near the gas station) has become a real landfill."

This situation was investigated on site by the environmental inspector for the Almazar district of the Tashkent city Department of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change.

As a result of relevant studies, organizations responsible for the problem in the area were involved and the waste was eliminated. The press service of the Tashkent City Ecology Department officially reported this.

The Department of Ecology appeals to the population to not be indifferent to such problems, to be proactive in protecting the environment, and to report cases of illegal waste disposal in a timely manner.
